Mario and Trisha Guerrera invite you to come and experience regional Italian cooking from homemade pizza, pasta to delicious entrees and desserts. Mario's plan is to carry on his family's long tradition of outstanding Italian food, service and hospitality.

In 1988 at the age of 17, Mario began his culinary career at his family's restaurant, Roma's Pizzeria II in Sacramento. There, he worked with his mother, Maria Guerrera, a very talented and skilled Italian cook.

He later went on to ALMA Scuola di Cucina Italiana in Parma, Italy. While at the prestigious ALMA, Mario learned all types of regional Italian cooking from appetizers to desserts. He studied under some of Europe's top chefs.

After returning to California, Mario interned at Masque Ristorante in El Dorado Hills, which has sinced closed and now would like to share his passion for Italian cuisine by opening his own restaurant in Rocklin.
